Senior Financial Planning Analyst for Global Real Estate and Facilities

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join its Global Real Estate and Facilities team in India. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in providing financial analysis and reporting support to drive business growth and decision-making.
In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for:
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Provide timely and accurate financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
- Monthly Financial Close Activities: Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial close activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Annual Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement annual budgets and forecasts.
- Controllership: Partner with multiple stakeholders to provide financial leadership and guidance to the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or payable, with a strong background in financial analysis and reporting.
- 3+ years of experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
- Knowledge of standard software, including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA skills.
- Experience in corporate finance, including budgeting/planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent, with 8+ years of experience, or post-graduation experience equivalent with 5+ years in FP&A.
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with additional experience in TM1, Data Warehouse, and SQL, as well as good financial acumen, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. If you have advanced proficiency in Excel, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities, we encourage you to apply.
