Job Description:

Azista Industries and Berlin Space Technologies are collaborating to establish a unique production facility in Ahmedabad for small satellites. This is the first private-scale satellite production house in India and one of the first globally.

The role involves overseeing quality processes across design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing phases of spacecraft and subsystems such as avionics, power & control systems, and payloads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance (QA):
    • Develop quality plans, procedures, and standards ensuring compliance with industry requirements.
    • Participate in design reviews to ensure quality requirements are embedded.
    • Conduct audits and process evaluations across vendors and internal teams.
    • Ensure traceability and configuration control of components and documentation.
    • Support risk management and failure mode analysis.
  • Quality Control (QC):
    • Perform inspection and testing of incoming components, in-process assemblies, and final products.
    • Verify compliance with test procedures, PID, and DTRs.
    • Coordinate environmental testing and review results.
    • Investigate non-conformances and lead corrective actions.
    • Maintain calibration records of test equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in aerospace or space systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards like ECSS and ISRO-PAS.
  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools and test benches.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
