A leading industrial automation company is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to spearhead the development of advanced software modules for on-device video capture, processing, and machine learning inference.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern C++ on Linux, solid image processing fundamentals, and practical experience integrating computer vision and machine learning models on device.

We are looking for a skilled engineer who can build real-time pipelines for live video, leveraging techniques such as classical image processing pipelines, monocular depth estimation, stereo matching, and structure from motion.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with data science teams to integrate ML models, optimize performance, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance C++ software modules for on-device video capture and processing.
  • Implement computer vision and machine learning algorithms for real-time video analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models and optimize system performance.
  • Develop and maintain clean, testable code using Git-based workflows.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with modern C++ on Linux.
  • Strong understanding of image processing fundamentals.
  • Practical experience integrating CV/ML models on device.
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
