SAP Finance Control Specialist Role Overview

The SAP Finance Functional Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP financial modules (FI/CO) to optimize business processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Develop and maintain SAP financial solutions to enhance business performance and accuracy
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional consultants to deliver high-impact solutions
Solution Design & Implementation

Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP Finance solutions.

  • Configure and customize SAP FI/CO modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, Controlling (CO), Profit Center Accounting, and Product Costing
  • Lead workshops to gather requirements and map business processes effectively
Project Delivery & Support

Contribute to full-cycle SAP implementations and support projects to ensure successful delivery.

  • Conduct thorough system testing, validation, and defect resolution
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support to ensure seamless adoption
Continuous Improvement

Identify areas for improvement and propose enhancements to optimize system performance and user experience.

  • Stay up-to-date with SAP S/4HANA Finance innovations, Fiori apps, and Embedded Analytics
  • Support change management and facilitate user adoption to drive business success
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO implementations and support
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting standards
