We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive websites using WordPress and React. They will also customize and implement WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements, diagnose and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors on our websites, conduct thorough testing to ensure issue resolution, evaluate and integrate third-party plugins to enhance website functionality, customise and extend plugin functionalities as needed, write clean and efficient code to extend website functionality, implement responsive design principles for seamless user experience, regularly update and maintain existing websites for optimal performance and security, implement and maintain security measures to protect our websites from potential threats, stay updated on the latest security trends and apply best practices for website security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing responsive websites using WordPress and React
  • Customizing and implementing WordPress themes and plugins
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, bugs, and errors on our websites
  • Conducting thorough testing to ensure issue resolution
  • Evaluating and integrating third-party plugins
  • Customising and extending plugin functionalities
  • Writing clean and efficient code to extend website functionality
  • Implementing responsive design principles for seamless user experience
  • Regularly updating and maintaining existing websites for optimal performance and security
  • Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our websites from potential threats
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with the marketing team to implement on-page SEO best practices on our websites
  • Monitoring website performance metrics and making recommendations for improvement
  • Optimizing website performance for speed and responsiveness
  • Updating and maintaining website content using WordPress CMS
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of website configurations, updates, and custom features
