Financial Transaction Manager

The Financial Transaction Manager is responsible for managing and recording financial transactions in the Tally accounting software, ensuring data accuracy and supporting the finance team with daily accounting functions. The ideal candidate has experience with Tally ERP software, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Data Entry and Record Management: Accurately enter financial data, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries into Tally. Maintain, update, and organize all relevant accounting records and documentation in Tally. Verify data entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Accounts Management: Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions by managing invoices, payment records, and customer/vendor accounts. Assist in reconciling accounts, including bank statements, supplier, and customer accounts to ensure accuracy. Maintain detailed records of all transactions and update them in Tally on a regular basis.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Generate financial reports in Tally, such as profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements as required. Assist the finance team in preparing MIS (Management Information System) reports and supporting documentation. Provide analysis on discrepancies found during data entry or reconciliation processes.
- Inventory and Stock Management: Monitor and update inventory records in Tally, ensuring stock details are accurately maintained. Manage and oversee purchase order processing and inventory adjustments as needed. Generate inventory-related reports and assist with stock reconciliation.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards. Assist with tax calculations and filing, preparing GST and TDS returns as required. Prepare and organize supporting documents for audits and other financial reviews.
- System Maintenance and Upgrades: Regularly back up Tally data to ensure data safety and security. Collaborate with IT or support teams for Tally software updates or troubleshooting.
- Experience: 13 years of experience as a Tally Operator or similar role.
- Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP software, good understanding of basic accounting principles, strong attention to detail and accuracy, good organizational and time-management skills, basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and other taxation rules is preferred.
