Ambitious Air Quality Expert Sought for High-Level Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our programme on air quality governance and data analytics.
This role will involve developing and implementing strategies to improve air quality, as well as building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the air quality policy landscape in India, as well as technical skills in data analysis and programming languages such as R/Python.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve air quality
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Leading teams of researchers and analysts to produce high-quality reports and data visualizations
- Collaborating with government agencies and industry partners to advance the clean air agenda
The ideal candidate will have a PhD or master's degree in environmental studies, environmental engineering or other related fields. They should have a sound understanding of India's air quality policy and regulatory environment, strong research background, adequate understanding of research methods and quantitative skills. Work experience includes 10-15 years in the air quality domain, especially in data analytics and policy governance. Prior experience working on projects focussing on air quality management, air pollution and urban governance is also required.

- Competence in using statistical and spatial analytical tools
- Demonstrated abilities to manage multiple priorities, projects and internal/external resources
