Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth, high-potential startup as a software engineer. In this role, you'll be part of the CD product team and responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software that has a direct impact on the company's product experience.

About the Role
  1. Design, develop, and maintain critical software in a fast-paced quality-conscious environment.
  2. Author software functional specifications and design documents.
  3. Quickly understand complex systems/code and own key pieces of the system, including the delivered quality.
  4. Design and implementation of scalable algorithms.
  5. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems in a distributed computing environment.
  6. Perform peer reviews of specifications, designs, and code.
  7. Work alongside Site Reliability Engineers and cross-functional teams to diagnose/troubleshoot any production performance-related issues.
About You

We're looking for someone with a desire to build products that solve complex technical problems for end-users. You should have 3-6 years of experience developing highly scalable, distributed applications, products, and services in Java or similar languages. Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus. You should have a deep understanding of how distributed resilient software is built and deployed, a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design, and strong analytical and debugging skills. You should be comfortable working in short, agile, iterative development cycles and have an entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality.
