Job Summary:

The Chief Information Security Specialist role within the organization is a critical position responsible for protecting the company's information and systems.

This involves creating competitive advantages, preventing reputational damage, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of information security, risk management, and cloud security.

They will be able to develop pragmatic strategies to ensure effective controls and information security management in relevant programs.

A key responsibility of this role is to identify and assess potential threat areas for information security by assessing the likelihood and impact and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support for issues arising from complex business and CIO programs that require coordination and end-to-end support from the CSO area.
  • To assist in the development of appropriate pragmatic strategies to ensure effective controls and information security management in relevant programs.
  • Identify and assess potential threat areas for information security by assessing the likelihood and impact and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Monitoring and contributing to the implementation of the Information Security Strategy.
  • Assessment of the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in relation to information security risks.
  • Ensure that appropriate procedures, policies, and processes are in place and agreed with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop appropriate, pragmatic strategies to provide effective controls and information security management objectives and implement them across the organization.
  • Maintain customer relationships and ensure management is focused on the information security agenda.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in computer science or related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of information security, risk management, and cloud security.
  • Experience aligning standards, frameworks, and security with overall business and technology strategy.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the processes of a security organization.
  • One or more certifications such as CISSP/CCSP/CISM/CEH/CISA/CCSK.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (oral and written).
