Quality Assurance Role

\

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing web, mobile, and backend applications.

\

The key responsibilities of this role include:

\
  • \
  • Designing, documenting, and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans for web, mobile, and backend applications.\
  • Performing manual functional testing as well as contributing to automation for regression and repetitive tasks.\
  • Testing APIs (REST/GraphQL) for functionality, data validation, error handling, and performance.\
  • Conducting cross-browser and cross-device testing for responsive web and mobile applications.\
  • Reporting, tracking, and verifying defects using Jira or equivalent bug tracking tool.\
  • Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps during sprints and release cycles.\
  • Participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release testing.\
  • Contributing to building and enhancing automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman).\
  • Ensuring quality in staging and production deployments.\

Requirements for the position include:

  • \
  • 2-5 years of experience in QA/testing for Web, Mobile, and Backend systems.\
  • Hands-on experience in manual testing and exposure to automation testing.\
  • Familiarity with tools & frameworks: Web - Selenium / Cypress / Playwright, Mobile - Appium / Espresso / XCUITest, API - Postman / REST Assured / JMeter.\
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.\
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).\
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.\
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.\
