Job Title: Public Relations Coordinator

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will assist in developing and executing PR campaigns and strategies, drafting and editing press releases, coordinating with media outlets, and maintaining brand consistency across all communications.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute PR campaigns and strategies to enhance the company's image and reputation.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, newsletters, and media content to effectively communicate the company's message.
  • Coordinate with media outlets, journalists, and influencers for coverage and build relationships with media professionals.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare PR activity reports to track the success of campaigns.
  • Support event planning, press conferences, and promotional activities to engage with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update the media contact database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, HR, leadership) for PR alignment and ensure a cohesive brand message.
Requirements:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey the company's message.
  • Good understanding of public relations, media, and communications principles to develop effective strategies.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals to secure coverage and promote the company's image.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms to create engaging content and manage online presence.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and creativity in messaging to develop innovative PR campaigns.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in corporate communications, PR agency, or media relations to bring valuable insights and expertise.
  • Familiarity with digital PR tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision, Hootsuite) to leverage technology and streamline processes.
  • Basic knowledge of content creation and graphic design tools to enhance visual appeal and engagement.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field to provide a solid foundation in PR principles and practices.
