Chief Enterprise Architect

As a senior technology leader, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture vision and strategy for our platform. Your role will be to ensure alignment with business objectives and drive innovation through effective technology solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities- Strategic Technology Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with business goals. Establish governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure consistent decision-making across the organization.
- Technology Evaluation and Selection: Assess emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on our operations. Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency, and recommend technologies and tools that best fit solution requirements.
- System Design and Implementation: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, designing systems that are scalable, secure, and resilient. Ensure seamless integration between systems and platforms, and have the ability to create proof-of-concept solutions to validate technical feasibility.
- Data Governance: Develop and maintain logical, physical, and conceptual data models to support business needs. Establish and enforce data standards, governance policies, and best practices, as well as design and manage metadata structures.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate architectural risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proficiency in designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Experience in evaluating and selecting technology vendors.
- Strong knowledge of the Clinical Research and Development Domain.
- Experience with Agile methodology, including Product Teams and Product Development models.
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in clinical research is preferred.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java is preferred.
- Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery methodology is preferred.
- A Master's degree with 8-10 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree with 10-14 years of experience, or a Diploma with 14-18 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze client requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Communication: Good communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to present effectively.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated awareness of how to function in a team setting.
