Turing is looking for PhD-level researchers in physics to test the reasoning capabilities of large language models.

You'll create complex physics problems, analyze model responses, and identify gaps in logic or understanding. The goal is to measure how well these models handle abstract thinking and structured problem-solving.

Day-to-Day Tasks
  • Create physics problems and review how the AI solves them
  • Share insights on how well it understands complex reasoning and logical steps

Eligibility:

  • Currently enrolled in or have completed a Ph.D. or Postdoctoral in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Able to provide clear, constructive feedback with examples
  • Strong written communication, especially in remote settings
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Stable computer and internet access
