About This Role

We're seeking an exceptional full stack engineer to lead the development of our AI vision platform. The successful candidate will create the entire software ecosystem, transforming cutting-edge models into a production-ready platform for satellite imagery processing and delivering actionable intelligence.

This is a high-velocity, AI-native role where you'll leverage the latest AI tools to build at unprecedented speed while maintaining quality and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create image processing pipelines for satellite image ingestion, preprocessing, and patch generation
  • Develop an AI model integration layer for seamless object detection and classification model integration
  • Design quality control systems for automated validation and human-in-the-loop review workflows
  • Build data management platforms for storing, indexing, and retrieving intelligence data
  • Implement end-user interfaces for intelligence dissemination and visualization
  • Establish scalable infrastructure using cloud-native architecture for large-scale data processing

Leadership & Collaboration Requirements

  • Lead technical teams with 2-10 developers
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with AI researchers
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders
  • Assume responsibility for mission-critical systems

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with 2+ years in AI/ML system integration
  • Expert-level proficiency in AI coding tools and AI-powered testing, documentation, and deployment tools
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI assistants for rapid prototyping, code generation, and debugging
  • Experience shipping production ML/AI systems at scale
  • Strong knowledge of backend development using Python, Node.js, or Go, computer vision integration with OpenCV and PIL, database systems like PostgreSQL and MongoDB, and cloud platforms including AWS and GCP
