We are currently seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to spearhead our financial operations.

Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Planning and Execution

  • Develop, implement and maintain effective financial strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide critical insights and recommendations to the leadership team to inform strategic decision-making.

Financial Management and Reporting

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian GAAP/IFRS/Ind-AS.
  • Implement best practices in financial reporting and monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance metrics.

Audit and Compliance Management

  • Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, FEMA, and other relevant statutes.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate risks and liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulators as needed.

Taxation and Regulatory Affairs

  • Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, filings, and assessments, ensuring timely payments and adherence to statutory timelines.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and updates, implementing necessary process improvements to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Professional accounting designation such as Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • 10+ years of experience in senior-level financial management roles in similar industries
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
