  • Role Overview:

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Performance Tester. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, stability, and scalability of our applications through rigorous testing and analysis.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing performance test plans, analyzing results, and providing actionable recommendations for optimization. This position requires a solid understanding of performance testing methodologies, proficiency in scripting and automation, and a strong problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive performance test plans and test cases based on system requirements and performance goals.
  • Execute load, stress, endurance, and spike tests to identify performance bottlenecks and limitations.
  • Analyze test results and generate detailed performance reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define performance acceptance criteria.
  • Develop and maintain automated performance test scripts using JMeter (Mandatory).
  • Write and maintain scripts in Python (Mandatory) to support performance testing activities.
  • Automate test data generation and management.
  • Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Desired).
  • Utilize cloud monitoring tools (GCP, Azure, etc.) to analyze system performance and monitor resource utilization.
  • Conduct API performance testing using Postman (Desired).
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and system administrators to resolve performance issues.
  • Communicate test results and performance insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
  • Utilize version control systems like Git (Desired).
  • Explore and implement UI Path for process automation (Desired).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest performance testing tools, technologies, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python (Mandatory).
  • Proficiency in Automation and/or Performance Tools, specifically JMeter (Mandatory).
  • Understanding of cloud monitoring tools (GCP, Azure, etc.).
  • Experience with automation tools like Postman, Jenkins, Git, and UI Path.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and identify root causes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
