Application Packaging Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Application Packaging Specialist to support the preparation, testing, and release of software within customer environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the right packaging and delivery approach is used, depending on the application.
  • Execute the steps of the application packaging process within SLA limits: application intake, packaging (using various tools), technical testing, documentation, deployment, maintenance, resolve incidents and requests related to packages in accordance with SLA.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks.
  • Windows 11 and AD Group Policies expertise.
  • Intermediate level PowerShell Scripting and basic VB scripting skills.
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Intune product family including Microsoft Configuration Manager with a focus on application creation/integration and deployment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.
  • ITIL-based operations experience using ITSM toolsets such as ServiceNow.

Benefits:

  • At least 4 years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems, employing available setup commands/scripting as well as repackaging and customizing setup applications using tooling such as InstallShield, RayPack, etc.
  • Proficiency in English.

Other Requisites:

  • Experience in preparing applications for a Citrix environment.
  • Microsoft Certifications such as MD-100: Windows 10, MD-101: Managing modern desktops, or MD-102: Endpoint Administrator.
  • Experience supporting multiple customer environments simultaneously.
  • International work environment experience.
