Our research centre in Bengaluru, India has state-of-the-art BSL2 and BSL3 laboratories for both in vitro and in vivo research.

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a talented Research Scientist to design and execute synthetic routes to prepare small molecules for drug discovery programmes.

• Track SAR and optimizing potency, selectivity, and properties of small molecules for research programs.
• Perform purification and structural characterization of compounds.
• Troubleshoot synthetic problems and optimize reaction conditions.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a closely related field.
• PhD in organic chemistry / medicinal chemistry.
• Postdoc in organic chemistry / Medicinal chemistry (Optional).
• 0-4 years of hands-on experience in working on bench, preferably in an industry.

**Technical and Soft Skills:

• Skilled in multistep organic synthesis, reaction optimization, and compound isolation.

• High level of creativity and productivity with strong synthetic chemistry problem solving skills.
