**Job Title:** Manager, Materials Management

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP MM module. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of materials management principles and proven experience in managing cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement SAP MM strategies to align with business objectives.
  • Manage a team of SAP MM functional consultants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and design SAP solutions.
  • Oversee the configuration and customization of SAP MM functionalities, including procurement, inventory management, material valuation, and vendor management.
  • Ensure the successful integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, WM, FICO) and third-party applications.
  • Conduct system testing (unit, integration, user acceptance testing) and resolve any issues that arise during testing phases.
  • Provide ongoing support for SAP MM operations, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with developers for system improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience working with SAP MM (Materials Management), including at least [Y] years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • SAP certification in MM module is preferred.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration, implementation, and support.
  • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end business processes in procurement, inventory management, and materials planning.
  • Experience in integrating SAP MM with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, WM, FICO) and external systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP issues.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience working with SAP S/4HANA or SAP Fiori applications is an advantage.
  • Experience in managing or overseeing global SAP MM rollouts and system migrations.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable.
