Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Product Designer to join our team. As a product designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to reality.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing mechanical products using CAD software
  • Collaborating with engineers and designers to develop product designs that meet customer requirements
  • Conducting design reviews and providing input on design changes
  • Ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from conceptual design to production-ready prototypes. Your creativity, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment will be essential to your success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4-10 years of industry experience in product design, development, and manufacturing
  • Proficiency in NX CAD design software and Teamcenter PLM software
  • Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups on complex assemblies
  • Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 standards
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
