Equity Research Analyst Internship Opportunity

This internship is a great chance to gain hands-on experience in equity research and financial analysis.

  • Perform fundamental analysis of companies to assess their investment potential and make informed decisions.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to project company performance and valuations, using data from financial statements.
  • Analyze stocks, monitor market trends, and provide valuable insights for investment strategies, considering both short-term and long-term goals.
  • Write clear and concise research reports, create engaging presentations, and summarize findings for internal use, ensuring that all stakeholders are well-informed.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed documentation to support research and investment processes, including data visualization and statistical analysis.
  • Use advanced Excel skills for data analysis, modeling, and reporting, as well as proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Word.
  • Assist in tracking portfolio performance and preparing updates, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Support the team with ad-hoc research tasks and projects, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to learning.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing CFA Level I/II/III or holding a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field, with a strong foundation in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and instruments, including stocks, bonds, and derivatives.
  • Knowledge of fundamental analysis and ability to interpret financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ability to analyze stocks, draft research reports, and prepare professional presentations, with a focus on clear communication and effective storytelling.
  • Strong documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Basic understanding of capital markets and investment concepts, including risk management and portfolio optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
