Job Overview

As a seasoned Cloud Network Professional, you will be responsible for designing and managing secure cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will be sought after to implement routine network changes, including operating system upgrades, routing adjustments, and other regular tasks associated with ongoing projects.

To succeed in this role, you must have a comprehensive understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and related technologies. You will also be responsible for maintaining secure communication protocols and certificate management.

Furthermore, you will work alongside development teams to integrate network security policies and best practices into CI/CD pipelines. You will utilize tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Chef, and Puppet to automate network security processes within the development lifecycle.

In addition to your technical skills, you will participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent network or Infrastructure as Code (IAC) CI/CD-related needs.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with core firewall technologies, deploying, upgrading, configuring, and managing NGFW solutions. Experience with cloud service provider ecosystems, particularly AWS, is preferred. Proficiency in network automation using Ansible, Python, or Bash is also required.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of IP Networking, Routing, Switching, VPNs, DNS, Load Balancing, and related technologies. Familiarity with microservices technology and experience working with CI/CD tools is a plus.

Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with core firewall technologies.
