Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Control Professional to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our deliverables. This role involves working closely with the QA Manager to plan, execute, and perform inspections and testing of incoming and outgoing deliverables.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and perform inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing deliverables to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables.
  • Suggest solutions to identified deliverable problems.
  • Collaborate with operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels to meet goals/KPIs.
  • Analyze and investigate reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with our guidelines and customer requirements.
  • Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with production team to achieve better results.
  • Develop or update inspection procedures to ensure that we're moving with the trend, as well as proper documentation and tracking of issues.
  • Monitor risk-management procedures, and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and discuss mitigations with the production team.
  • Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards.
  • Collect quality data by carefully maintaining issues and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions.
  • Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits.
  • Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management.
  • Oversee continuous improvement projects to develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all services offered to the customer.
  • Pursue continuing learning/exploration on new solutions, technology, and skills.
Qualifications

We require candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ year experience in quality control or a related field
  • Ability to review content in multiple languages
  • Superb computer competence, including MS Office
  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices, and defect management practice
  • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
  • Professional certification in Quality Assurance
  • Knowledge of Content Quality Assurance Automation

This position offers a high level of autonomy and freedom to act on several key areas, including deciding with the QA Manager if the final output should or should not be delivered to the customer, improving existing QA practices and guidelines, defining new processes and guidelines for QA, and suggesting enhancements to improve the end deliverable to the client.
