Job Purpose/Summary:

We are seeking a skilled cybersecurity professional to join our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of security tools and technologies, alongside a solid foundation in scripting and automation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate expertise in security tools, including Imperva Web Application Firewall (WAF).
  • Maintain a good understanding of Linux Operating System and its security features.
  • Analyze and solve complex cybersecurity issues using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to enhance security posture and protect against emerging threats.
  • Develop scripts for process automation and system integration, utilizing programming languages like Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient workflows and streamline operations.
  • Possess a solid understanding of software development principles and practices, including version control using Git and code management using Visual Studio Code (VSCode).
  • Utilize containerization techniques, such as Docker, to enhance security and improve deployment efficiency.
  • Provide valuable feedback on security tools and processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Familiar with network protocols, including TCP/IP, and have a basic understanding of packet analysis, IDS/IPS systems, web proxies, DNS security, DDoS protection, and firewalls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Familiarity with scripting and process automation, with experience in tools like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Basic knowledge of data analytics libraries, such as Pandas, is a plus.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
