This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled instrumentation engineer to take on a senior role and lead a team of engineers and designers in delivering instrumentation design deliverables for oil and gas projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage all aspects of instrumentation design and engineering for EPC projects.
  • Prepare and review instrument specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations.
  • Oversee the development of instrument index, I/O lists, hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, and other key deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with international codes and standards such as IEC, ISA, API, ANSI, and NEC.
  • Coordinate with process, mechanical, electrical, civil, and automation disciplines.
  • Manage vendor interactions including vendor document reviews, FAT and technical clarifications.
  • Provide support during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning stages.
  • Proficiency in engineering tools such as SPI (Intools), AutoCAD, Aveva E3D, or SmartPlant.
  • Knowledge of control valves, analyzers, field instrumentation, DCS, PLC, SCADA, and safety systems.
  • Lead the instrumentation team and ensure deliverables meet the project quality standards and schedule.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in oil & gas detail design and engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of hazardous area classification, loop checking, and instrument sizing.
  • Good leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience with major EPC companies or international O&G clients is preferred.
