Job Description:

This is a full-time, fully remote role that involves developing and customizing WordPress themes, plugins, and templates. The ideal candidate will work from the comfort of their home while collaborating with a global team of engineers, designers, and strategists who are shaping platforms that serve millions of users.

The primary responsibilities include building websites using Gutenberg, Kadence, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), managing large-scale content uploads, data migrations, and integrations, optimizing websites for speed, security, and SEO best practices, collaborating with designers to implement responsive, user-focused layouts, and troubleshooting, debugging, and continuously improving site performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in large-scale WordPress development
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Skilled in Gutenberg, Kadence, and ACF
  • Solid foundation in SEO and website performance optimization
  • Experience with version control systems (Git preferred)
  • Familiarity with WP Engine hosting, AWS, and Cloudflare is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent real-world experience)
