Senior Tester Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Tester to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have real-time experience and be able to contribute to the company's ongoing growth.

  • A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in creating test cases, executing tests, reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers.
  • Manual Testing experience of 5+ years.
  • Experience in testing RESTful Web services API automation using REST Assured is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Maven, CICD Tools.
  • Testing of Cloud-hosted applications and customer-facing applications.
  • Prior experience in Payments industry is a plus but not essential.
  • Experience in creating test automation for APIs, single or multiple microservices.
  • Ability to build test scripts for test automation framework.
  • Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent technical skills including SQL, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proficiency in Nodes/JavaScript or other relevant languages.
  • Extensive API test experience.
  • Strong grasp of quality management principles and practices to work with users, testers, developers, and other stakeholders to discover problems, defects, and related exceptions.
  • Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and executing test cases/suites as well as analyzing results.
  • Experienced in defect resolution and defect burn down across all related parties.
  • Adept at removing blocking issues to ensure progress, pace, and velocity needs are being met.
  • Manage and prioritize functional and technical backlogs and defect burn downs effectively in partnership with the Program leadership team, work stream leads, and implementation partner vendors.
  • Possess thorough technical, analytical, and operational knowledge within the QA area.
  • Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source.
