SAP Implementation Consultant

Job Description:

As a seasoned SAP implementation consultant, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design, configuration, and support of SAP Materials Management (MM) and Sales Distribution (SD) solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in aligning business goals with seamless integration across procurement and sales processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Module Configuration: Lead MM and SD module configurations, enhancements, and support initiatives to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business objectives.
  • Business Process Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, analyze and map business processes to SAP best practices in MM and SD.
  • Functional Configuration: Configure and maintain core MM functionalities: Purchase Requisition, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt, Inventory Management, Vendor Evaluation, as well as SD functionalities: Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing, Pricing, Credit Management, Returns, and Intercompany Sales.
  • Integration Expertise: Design integration scenarios between MM, SD, FI/CO, and PP modules for seamless process integration.
  • Testing and Support: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), provide end-user training, and create documentation.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments and enhancements, collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, QM, FI/CO, WM) for smooth process integration.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and S/4HANA migration projects, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Master Data Maintenance: Ensure proper Master data maintenance, support for the Project System (PS) module, and other modules as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP implementation, with a focus on MM and SD.

• Expertise in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.

• Proficiency in ABAP programming.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Strong technical knowledge of SAP MM and SD modules.

• Experience with Fiori Applications and LSMW.

• Competent with P2P cycle, new configuration & process.

• Knowledge about stock reports and period opening (MM & FICO).

• Z developments in the MM process.

• Monthly period opening (MM & FICO).

• Familiarity with asset management, functional locations & equipment, and sequence.

• Expertise in tax code creation and vendor master at the group level.
