Job Overview

The role of a Software Development Lead encompasses leading the software design, build, and configuration processes. This position requires overseeing development efforts to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expected to possess in-depth knowledge as an SME (Subject Matter Expert)
  • Collaborate and manage teams to accomplish tasks
  • Responsible for making informed team decisions
  • Oversee application deployment and provide level 1&2 support during SIT, UAT, and production implementation for core banking systems
  • Address UAT issues and enquiries from business users until their appropriate resolution
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decision-making
  • Provide solutions to immediate and complex problems affecting multiple teams
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Java, SQL, UNIX, Shell scripting, Control M
  • Hands-on experience with Jetty, DevOps, Docker, Microsoft SQL Server, Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience with RDBMS Oracle 12/19, PL/SQL
  • Hands-on experience with Docker EE, Kubernetes, Argo CD
  • Exposure to DevOps tools like Jenkins, Master Deploy etc.
  • Exposure to Elastic search (KIBANA), Grafana
  • Exposure to ETL tools is beneficial
  • Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in DevOps
  • 15 years full-time education required
