Job Overview

The Cybersecurity Network Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network and security infrastructure. This includes ensuring seamless performance, robust reliability, and comprehensive protection against potential threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
  • Network Device Management: Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime, while also monitoring network performance and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Security Solutions Deployment: Deploy and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
  • Security Assessments and Vulnerability Scans: Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Network Protocols and Secure File Transfer: Configure and maintain network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs) and secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, SSH).
  • Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support to end-users and stakeholders, while also staying updated with the latest advancements in network and security technologies.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 3-6 years of hands-on experience in network and security engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, FTP, SFTP, VLAN, DHCP), expertise in configuring and managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers), proficiency in network security technologies (IDS/IPS, VPN, firewall management), experience with network monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or similar), and strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications and Cloud Experience: Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP (preferred), and experience with cloud-based network solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
  • Automation Tools: Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) is a plus.

Salary and Benefits
