Job Opportunity : Enterprise GitLab Solutions Architect

  • Assess the current infrastructure to determine scalability and security requirements for implementing comprehensive GitLab solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand Enterprise Architecture and Security standards, providing designs and implementations based on those.
  • Install, configure, and manage GitLab on servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Leverage Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code tools to set up and configure required infrastructure, automating routine tasks.
  • Integrate GitLab with existing corporate tools and services, enabling seamless collaboration.
  • Configure and manage security settings and access controls for GitLab, adhering to best practices.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient delivery of software.
  • Provide training and support to team members and engineers on using GitLab effectively.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot any issues with GitLab infrastructure, collaborating closely with development teams.
  • Implement best practices for version control, code review, and collaboration using GitLab.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure successful adoption of GitLab, contributing to deployment operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for GitLab setup and usage within the enterprise.
  • Recommend best practices around Microsoft Azure and assist with ad-hoc Azure DevOps queries.

Required Skills :

  • Proficiency in GitLab installation, configuration, and management.
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Experience in integrating GitLab with existing corporate tools and services.
  • Understanding of security settings and access controls for GitLab.
  • Ability to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
