Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, investor reports, and quarterly and annual fund performance reports in accordance with US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Oversee the accounting for multiple private equity funds, including maintaining the general ledger, recording journal entries, and reconciling accounts.
  • Assist in the valuation process of portfolio companies, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the financial records.
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth and timely completion of audits.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and assist in the preparation of filings with regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Monitor cash flows and liquidity positions for funds, ensuring adequate funding for operations and investment activities.

Requirements:
  • Masters degree in accounting or finance.
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, with at least 2 years in private equity or alternative investments.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and private equity accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
