Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role involves end-to-end payroll processing, including collecting timesheet data and payroll information, entering data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs, and calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, and commissions.
  • The successful candidate will prepare and process paychecks and cash deposits while maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
  • In addition to these responsibilities, the Payroll Specialist will respond to payroll-related inquiries, resolve concerns, perform payroll reconciliations, and prepare financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes.
  • e-TDS filing and form no.16 are also part of this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to manage year-end activity and front-end client queries over a call and email.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Termination payments calculation including Annual Leave, Long Service Leave, and Redundancy payment.
  • Preparing periodic payroll reports for review by Team leader.

About the Role:

  • This role requires a strong understanding of payroll procedures and tax laws.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience with a bachelor's or master's degree in business or a related field is required.
  • Good communication skills (oral & written) are essential.
