Polymorph Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Polymorph Scientist to join our team at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Limited. As a Polymorph Scientist, you will play a crucial role in the development of novel solid forms of pharmaceutical compounds.

1. Screening and Characterization: Design and execute experiments to identify novel solid forms of pharmaceutical compounds, and characterize their properties using techniques such as XRPD, DSC, and TGA.
2. Preformulation Studies: Coordinate with analysts to conduct stability studies and assess the novelty of solid forms.
3. Patent Development: Draft documents for filing patents and support IP teams in comparing forms for patent pursuit.
4. Documentation and Reporting: Document executed experiments and draft screening reports.

• Education: M.Sc. (Chemistry) or M Pharm (Pharmaceutics) with specialization or experience in solid-state chemistry.
• Experience: 0-3 years of work experience in crystallization/solid-form screening.
• Skills: Successfully supported or directly handled polymorph screening for at least 0-2 products; understanding of organic solid state and screening techniques.
