Jira Developer & Configuration Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, Develop, Test, and Maintain: Create custom Jira workflows, fields, screens, permissions, and other configurations to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Translate business requirements into actionable Jira solutions that drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage Jira Enhancements and Automations: Leverage source control to manage changes and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Perform Troubleshooting, Code Reviews, Documentation, and Testing: Ensure high-quality deliverables through rigorous testing and documentation.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Continuously update skills and knowledge on the latest Jira features and improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Jira (Data Center Configuration and API): Proven experience in configuring and customizing Jira for optimal performance.
  • ScriptRunner and Groovy Scripting: Skilled in writing efficient and effective Groovy scripts to automate business processes.
  • Jira SDK, Plugin Development (Data Center & Cloud): Experience in developing plugins and integrating them with Jira.
  • REST APIs and Jira Services Integration: Ability to integrate Jira with other services using REST APIs.
  • CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD tools for automating testing and deployment.
  • Agile, Scrum, Kanban Methodologies: Experience working in agile environments and adapting to changing requirements.
  • Platforms: Linux (Server), Windows (Desktop): Proficiency in working on both Linux and Windows platforms.
