Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine fashion designs for dresses, tops, and fusion wear.
  • Create seasonal collections aligned with brand aesthetics and current fashion trends.
  • Design detailed illustrations, mood boards, and technical sketches using specialized software like Photoshop & Corel Draw.
  • Sourcing fabrics, trims, and embellishments to match both western and fusion styles.
  • Fabricate samples with the in-house team by translating design concepts into reality.
  • Evaluate fittings, pattern corrections, and fabric usage to ensure high-quality products at optimal costs.
  • Collaborate closely with merchandising and production teams for seamless execution.
  • Research and stay updated on global and Indian fashion trends in western and fusion wear.
  • Analyze competitor collections and contribute innovative ideas for differentiation.
Key Skills & Tools:
  • Software: Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw (strong command required).
  • Fabric Knowledge: Cotton, Rayon, Muslin, Chanderi, Silk, Blends & their drapes.
  • Design Expertise: Western silhouettes, dresses, coord sets, fusion wear.
  • Visualization, Sketching & Digital Illustration: Strong skills are essential.
  • Garment Construction, Patterns & Embroidery Placement: Good knowledge is required.
  • Deadline Management: Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining creativity and precision.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in women's western or fusion fashion.
  • A portfolio of previous work (required).
