We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Stealth Startup. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Responsibilities:- Payroll Processing: Accurately handle payroll for all employees, including wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Compliance: Adhere to federal, state, and local tax laws, staying updated on any changes.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate payroll records, including tax forms, timesheets, and reports.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
- Reporting: Generate detailed payroll reports for management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 4 years in payroll administration, with expertise in India and the US; experience in Canada and/or the UK is a plus.
- Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of payroll software and databases, with a preference for Rippling experience.
- Legal Compliance: Familiarity with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
