Job Title: Database Systems Specialist

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Database Systems Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle databases and a proven track record of ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Oracle E-Business Suite Administration: Ensure the smooth operation of Oracle E-Business Suite, including installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products.
  • Database Security: Implement and maintain database security policies, including creating and maintaining users and roles, assigning privileges, and ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Backup and Recovery: Establish and maintain backup and recovery procedures, including cloning development and testing environments from production, and performing regular database maintenance activities such as tablespace management, datapump, and log file purging.
  • Performance Monitoring: Perform database tuning and performance monitoring, as well as application tuning and performance monitoring, to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide consultation to development teams on database-related issues and perform general technical troubleshooting.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
