Senior Technology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our technology team as a Senior Technology Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in shaping, modernizing, and scaling EDI platforms.

  • Design and develop a cloud self-service platform that enables seamless, tailored, and adaptable solutions.
  • Work with the organization to deliver scalable and reliable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full understanding of B2Bi Dashboard and Admin activities.
  • Operating system level patches on Servers and Application patches on B2Bi App.
  • Recommend and implement automation of different administration tasks via UNIX Shell scripts, command-line utilities or other applications/scripting languages.
  • Work with vendors on support tickets and bug fixes.
  • Familiar with source and target systems including OpenText and Axway Managed File Transfer, Oracle, SQL Server and numerous file types such as EDI Delimited, XML, JSON and flat files.
  • Perform Disaster Recovery exercises.
  • Willingsness for on-call support as needed throughout assigned projects.
  • Knowledge of how to perform B2Bi migrations and Server level activities.
  • Familiar with GIT (GitHub), AWS infrastructure, ServiceNow and JIRA.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent on-job experience.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years applicable experience in B2Bi Tool.
  • Detailed understanding and experience with B2Bi product in Admin, Business process, Maps and Dashboard.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning using Git (GitHub).
  • Good hands-on experience in Linux.
  • Strong debugging skills.
  • Communicating with vendors and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Good understanding of AWS technologies including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS Oracle.
  • Strong Linux script development experience including expertise in REST/JSON APIs.
  • Good to have experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Puppet, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with RedHat.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Real-time experience as a B2Bi Administrator.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with participating in projects in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline development team environment.
  • Skill set on any monitoring or observability tool will be a value add.
  • Basic understanding of batch scheduling tools like autosys.
