  • A senior full stack developer is needed to lead the architecture, implementation and maintenance of complex applications for web and mobile applications including both frontend and backend.
  • This position requires end-to-end ownership of applications from implementing user stories to deployments, bug fixes, dashboards etc.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers within and across teams to deliver high quality products and features.
  • The chosen candidate will champion the use of newer architectural patterns such as BFF (Backend for Frontend), MFA (Micro Frontend Architecture) to deliver modular and high performance applications.
  • They must possess the capability to comprehensively comprehend existing systems from start to finish, enabling maintenance and refactoring efforts aimed at the ongoing enhancement of our products.
  • The successful candidate will propose new ideas and build consensus within the team to adopt best practices.
  • Responsibilities include performing code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and helping peers for a collaborative team environment.
About this Role

We are looking for an experienced software engineer with strong skills in building customer facing applications using cutting edge technologies.

This person should have experience in both backend and frontend development and be able to lead architectural design and implementation of complex applications with significant user bases involving multiple platforms and teams.

Strong computer science background in data structures, algorithms, networking, RESTful APIs etc. is essential.

Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in application development across multiple platforms i.e. web browsers, android, iOS etc.
  • Successful track record of delivering multiple projects with leading architectural design and implementation of complex applications with significant user bases.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Experience working with RDBMS such as Postgres, MySQL etc.
  • Good understanding of end to end System Design involving backend systems.
  • Cloud service provider experience such as AWS, Azure, GCP is desirable.
  • Distributed services experience eg. messaging queues.
  • Experience integrating third-party software such as Salesforce, Hubspot is extremely desirable.
  • Test automation and tools experience such as Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter etc.
