Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and security of our databases.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain databases to meet business needs.
  • Develop and optimize complex database queries to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures to protect against unauthorized access.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database issues to ensure uptime and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement database solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in database administration, particularly with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Good to Have:

  • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for automation.
  • Experience with database performance tuning and indexing strategies.
