Cyber Security Solutions Specialist

As a seasoned Cyber Security Architect/Engineer II, you will be responsible for conducting thorough security assessments of applications to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities. Your expertise in penetration testing, security vulnerability analysis, and remediation using OWASP and SANS methodologies will be instrumental in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with architects, developers, and stakeholders to align implementations with secure coding practices. You will also perform design and architecture reviews to define security testing scope, simulate exploits like SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, and XPath Injection manually and with tools, and continuously monitor evolving cyber threats and enhance security detection techniques.
You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity tools, standards, and best practices, and deliver high-quality security assessment reports with proof-of-concepts and practical countermeasures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in penetration testing, security vulnerability analysis, and remediation using OWASP and SANS methodologies
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and software development life cycles
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure implementation of system designs
- Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively
