Job Title : Core Network Project Engineer

As a critical component of the network team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and go-live of core network projects.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Project Lifecycle Management : Represent the network team from project initiation through to closure, ensuring all network requirements and objectives are met.
  • Technical Validation & Collaboration : Work closely with network and IT architects to validate core network requirements and designs.
  • Testing & Fault Resolution : Develop comprehensive test plans and coordinate test execution.
  • Trend Analysis & Prevention : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze fault trends and propose preventive solutions to improve network stability and performance.
  • Go-Live Support : Provide essential support during proof of concepts (POCs), trials, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live phases.
  • BAU Support : Offer support for business-as-usual (BAU) activities, including network monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in electronics, telecommunications, or computer science.
  • Strong knowledge of CS (Circuit-Switched), PS (Packet-Switched), & IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) core networks.
  • Familiarity with 3GPP, IETF, and GSMA standards and architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with key telecom protocols, including GTP (GPRS Tunnelling Protocol), Gi, Sy, Gx, Gy & Ro, SIGTRAN, and MAP (Mobile Application Part).
  • Proficiency in using Wireshark for trace analysis.
  • Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server), scripting (PL/SQL, Batch, UNIX), and other relevant system administration tasks.
  • Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms, and working knowledge of project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
