About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Intel Corporation as a System Security SW Architect. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing security software solutions for Intel's products.

Job Overview

As a System Security SW Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical oversight of the development of Intel security software technologies and solutions. Your scope will span the entire stack, including firmware, drivers, frameworks, protocols, algorithms, and applications, as well as structure and validation direction.

Responsibilities
  • Pathfinding and providing technical direction for security software development
  • Interacting with technologists across Intel and within the industry to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development
  • Designing and implementing security software solutions
  • Mentoring developer teams as needed
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 12+ years of experience in software development, configuration management, and debug experience
  • Strong understanding of Platform Level Security Features and threat modeling
  • Strong understanding of SDL practices
  • Knowledge of trusted platform design and trusted execution environments (TEE), e.g., Intel SGX and BIOS/UEFI
  • 8 years of C, C++ development experience
  • 5 years of Linux driver development experience with exposure/knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Fluency in Python
  • Breadth of knowledge that spans BIOS and bootloaders, boot flows, drivers, FPGA, and middleware
  • Experience in key management systems, security architecture, cryptography experience, cryptographic algorithms, security modeling, encryption/decryption, and/or security and identity management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
