Job Title: Fiber Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-speed fiber optic networks.

The role involves working on field deployment, testing, and ensuring seamless connectivity for enterprise and ISP services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the deployment, splicing, termination, and testing of fiber optic cables.
  • Perform advanced OTDR, power meter, and light source testing to ensure network quality.
  • Support ongoing network maintenance, fault identification, and restoration of fiber breaks.
  • Maintain accurate records of fiber routes, splicing details, and test reports.
  • Coordinate with field teams, contractors, and customers during project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to industry safety standards and project timelines.
  • Provide on-site support for FTTH, backbone, and enterprise fiber projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance.
  • Advanced knowledge of fiber technologies (single mode, multi-mode).
  • Familiarity with fiber splicing machines, OTDR, and related tools.
  • Ability to work in field environments and travel to project sites.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Understanding of FTTH, DWDM, MPLS, and backbone fiber networks.
  • Exposure to ISP / Telecom / Infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and industry best practices.
