Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Homologation Strategist to lead the homologation process for retrofit emission control devices and automotive related products.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving all homologation related activities, including technical and non-technical aspects, leading the homologation team, and ensuring successful completion of type-approval and CoP projects that meet regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Developing Strategies: Create powerful and enhanced homologation strategies & roadmap for retrofit emission control devices and automotive related products
  • Relationship Management: Develop and manage relationships with Test Agencies and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth project execution
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the homologation team, ensuring effective execution of homologation strategies and meeting timelines
  • Risk Monitoring: Monitor and report on the homologation process, including risks and issues, to senior management
  • Project Ownership: Take full ownership of homologation-related projects in the organization
  • Culture Development: Foster a culture of process-driven ideas across the engineering team, encouraging cross-functional teamwork and open communication
  • Problem Solving: Work in ambiguity while ensuring the team remains focused and motivated, and actively participate in organization-level strategy
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in homologation, certification, or regulatory compliance, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and homologation partners
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
