Job Title: Subject Matter Expert

About the Position:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain our modern data infrastructure.

This role is ideal for someone with profound technical expertise in ETL pipeline design, data modeling, and data architecture who excels in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment.

You'll work across the full data stack—from ingestion and transformation to orchestration and delivery—playing a key role in scaling our analytics and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data flows using best practices
  • Develop transformation models using dbt and orchestrate pipelines via Airflow for seamless integration
  • Optimize large-scale processing jobs in Apache Spark for improved performance
  • Tune and manage relational and analytical databases (PostgreSQL, Snowflake) for optimal data management
  • Architect and maintain schemas using Star Schema, 3NF, and SCD2 methodologies for robust data governance
  • Design and support lakehouse architectures and scalable storage solutions for efficient data storage
  • Implement and enforce data governance, validation, and quality control mechanisms for reliable data insights
  • Maintain DevOps standards using CI/CD, GitFlow, and containerization tools like Docker and Ansible for streamlined operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT design principles
  • Strong experience with dbt, Airflow, and Spark for data engineering
  • Deep understanding of data modeling techniques (Star Schema, 3NF, SCD2) for data integrity
  • Proven ability to optimize and tune PostgreSQL and Snowflake for enhanced performance
  • Familiarity with lakehouse architecture principles and tools for efficient data storage
  • Solid experience in data governance, validation frameworks, and pipeline monitoring for data reliability
  • Strong grasp of GitFlow, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Ansible) for streamlined operations
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a dynamic environment
