3D Model Administrator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced 3D model administrator to join our team. As a CAD Admin, you will be responsible for installing and configuring computer-aided design (CAD) applications, resolving technical issues, and ensuring smooth operation of engineering applications over the cloud and production.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in CAD administration, with hands-on experience in installing and configuring CAD applications such as PTC Creo, NX, Catia, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Ansys, and Solid Edge. They should also have expertise in CAE and AMS application installation and configuration, cluster maintenance, daily routine health checks for nodes, and license management of CAD CAE applications.

In addition, the successful candidate should have experience in packaging CAD products and scripting remote deployments, as well as managing engineering applications over cloud and production.

Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a CAD Admin
  • CAD Applications: Hands-on experience in installing and configuring CAD applications (PTC Creo, NX, Catia, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Ansys, Solid Edge)
  • CAE and AMS: Experience in CAE and AMS application installation and configuration, resolving issues
  • Cluster Maintenance: Cluster maintenance and daily routine health checks for nodes
  • Licensing: Installation, configuration, license management of CAD CAE applications
  • Deployment: Experience in packaging CAD products and scripting remote deployments
  • Cloud and Production: Management of engineering applications over cloud and production
