Job Title: Guidewire Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Developer to join our team at ANLAGE. As a Guidewire Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the Guidewire platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop solutions on the Guidewire platform (Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center) based on business requirements.
  • Customize Guidewire products by writing Gosu code and configuring application settings to meet specific business needs.
  • Develop and implement integrations between Guidewire and external systems such as payment gateways, document management systems, and other third-party applications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Identify and resolve issues in Guidewire applications, ensuring smooth functionality and performance.
  • Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for all code changes, configurations, and customizations.
  • Optimize system performance by analyzing and tuning application performance to meet performance benchmarks.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of development experience with Guidewire (Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center, Rating Engine).
  • Proficiency in Gosu scripting language, Java, and J2EE technologies.
  • Experience with Guidewire DataHub, Guidewire InfoCenter, and integrating Guidewire with other systems via APIs, web services, and messaging.
  • Strong experience with SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) and familiarity with XML and JSON.
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git and tools such as Jenkins for CI/CD.
  • Experience with cloud-based deployment of Guidewire systems is a plus (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.

Qualifications:

  • Guidewire Certification (e.g., Certified BillingCenter/PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter Developer).
  • Insurance Domain Knowledge: Understanding of insurance processes, workflows, and terminologies.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and guide them in resolving complex technical issues.
