Job Title: AI Engineering Specialist

Job Summary:

This role involves managing data privacy controls, delivering audit logs and compliance reporting, implementing robust guardrails and moderation tools, tracking model performance and usage metrics, optimizing prompt engineering, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining internal admin guides, developing knowledge bases, and serving as a Tier 3 escalation point.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage data privacy controls to prevent the training of AI models on sensitive data and enforce zero-retention policies.
  • Deliver comprehensive audit logs and compliance reporting for OpenAI usage to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Implement robust guardrails and moderation tools, including fine-tuned safety layers, to enhance the security and reliability of AI applications.
  • Track and analyze model performance and usage metrics, producing regular reports for leadership to inform strategic decisions.
  • Optimize prompt engineering and evaluate cost/performance trade-offs to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API calls, latency, and integration failures, ensuring seamless operation of AI tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in AI applications engineering or a related role.
  • Proficiency in AI tools, particularly Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy controls and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in configuring and managing AI tool environments securely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience delivering training and creating documentation.
